About Drain the Galaxy

Lots of planets. Even more dwarves.

You're the captain of a space dwarf starship. The job is simple: land, unload the crew, haul away everything that isn't bolted down. Whatever is bolted down, they'll unbolt.

How a run works

1. Touchdown. The drill punches through the crust, and thousands of dwarves pour out of the hold and start chewing through rock. On their own. Nobody has to explain it to them.

2. Help out, or at least stay out of the way. While the clock is running, swing the pickaxe for combos up to x8, slice rock with the laser and drop missiles wherever the dwarves are falling behind.

3. Home with the haul. Time's up: the ship collects everyone and everything. Ore becomes galactic bucks, bucks become upgrades.

4. Do it again, but bigger. More dwarves, longer runs, meaner tools. The planet you barely scratched yesterday will soon vanish whole.

What's in the hold

  • Thousands of dwarves on screen. Miners, Demolishers and Snipers. Up to 10,000 at once in the full game.

  • A huge upgrade tree. Buy something after every run, and the next one hits noticeably harder.

  • Buff cards. Deal enough damage and the run pauses: pick one of three. More time, faster dwarves, harder hits. Five rarities. The buff lasts until the run ends. The greed is permanent.

  • Veins and cores. Veins hide in the rock, and a core sits at the center of every planet. Crack one open for a payout that makes dwarves cry. Happy tears.

  • Planets with surprises. Brittle rock, magnetic storms, a planet of solid gold. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get a story.

  • Artifacts, prestige and clan rankings. Rare planets, ancient finds and a leaderboard that shows whose clan is the greediest.

  • Autopilot. Tired of flying yourself? The dwarves can handle it. Honestly, they always could.

What's not here

Fail states. Lost progress. Microtransactions. The worst that can happen: you come home with a full hold a little later.

In the demo

Two planets, the first island of the upgrade tree and enough dwarves to understand why you need the rest.
