Last Haul

Last Haul is a mining roguelite set in open 2D space. You mine to get stronger, and mining is what brings the enemies.

Your laser is your pickaxe and your gun. The more you mine, the faster the enemies come.

Tow a whole chain of crystals behind you. Your home is a wormhole, and it pays for every crystal it eats.

Spend your haul in the middle of the run. A bigger gun now, or a richer haul later?

Every zone changes the job. Mine a quota. Hunt down the enemies. Pay a tribute. Hold out till the timer ends. Guard the wormhole. Or crack four eggs in a zone with nothing to mine, and the boss comes out.

Every zone ends on a boss fight, and every boss fights its own way.

Things happen mid-run: meteor rain, a storm cloud, an enemy base, a giant asteroid. Feed a black hole and it pays double for every crystal. Get clear before it blows.

When your ship is destroyed, the run ends, but your progress doesn't. Runs earn something you keep, even the ones you lose. Spend it on permanent upgrades, new weapons, ships and modules.
