Museum DisARTer is a cozy first-person organization and deduction game where you'll have to return hundreds of paintings to the collections they belong to.

Forget those endless museum descriptions. Here, artworks come with descriptions written the way a friend might describe a painting while pointing at it.

Observe each painting, interpret the clues, and deduce which one it belongs to before putting it in its place.

No rush, no pressure, and plenty of little moments of satisfaction when, suddenly, everything clicks.

Bring the Museum Back to Life

"Oh no! Someone has stolen all the paintings from the Museum! What are we going to do...?! Oh, never mind, they've already been returned. Would you mind putting them all back where they belong? Don't worry, it won't take a minute..."

On an otherwise ordinary Monday, your workday has been interrupted by a rather unfortunate robbery. Now that the artworks have been recovered, it's up to you to put them all back in their place so you can finally enjoy a well-deserved vacation.

Explore the different galleries and return each painting to its rightful place. As you complete each collection, the museum slowly returns to its former glory.

Art History Has Never Been This Unserious

If you can't tell fuchsia from magenta, or don't know the difference between "Impressionism" and "Expressionism", don't worry, the developer of this game has absolutely no idea either.

No one here talks about composition, symbolism, or masterful brushwork. Each painting comes with a short, casual description (not academic in the slightest), with just enough historical accuracy to help you figure out which artwork you're looking at.

"Post-Impressionist canvas by a certain Dutch artist consciously exploring the connection between color and emotion?"

No. But maybe...

"Bearded man in a top hat leaves the house for the first time in fifteen years and this happens."

And don't worry, if you're an art lover, you'll be able to find some actual (serious) information about each painting after putting it in its place.

Take Your Time

There are no time limits or pressure. Explore the museum at your own pace, enjoy the process, and experience the satisfaction of watching the chaos disappear, one painting at a time.

This game is NOT incremental. You won't unlock some magical tool that suddenly lets you place multiple paintings at once to "save you work." Heaven forbid playing a game should turn into doing a job...

You don't need to optimize anything here. The game is about taking your time to read the description, look at the details, and find the right painting before placing it in its collection. Every painting is a little puzzle to solve and enjoy: some clues will be obvious, while others... well, you'll have to use a little imagination.

Note: NO AI was used to make this game. The artworks are in the public domain, and every description was thought up and written by me, by hand, in the only two languages I can express myself in (Spanish and English). They might be funnier or less funny, clearer or more confusing, but they're part of my personal sense of humor.
